The are all “enemies” of our confidence. But they do serve a purpose. Coaching can help you place all of these things into context so that they can work FOR you, instead of against you.

Problem solving is a skill, but difficult to do in the dark. Coaching can help turn on a spotlight. Together, we can identify the road blocks between you and your goals, then  create a plan to go over, under, around or through those barriers. In partnership, we can:

Taking a broader view of your career, we can explore where you are now, where you would like to be in the future, and what it will take to get there. Because I don’t have a crystal ball or a magic genie, I cannot predict the future–and I haven’t met anyone who can. So for me, career planning isn’t about having a step-by-step plan–that is a perfect recipe for frustration, disappointment and failure. What we can do together is:

• Develop skills, methods, techniques and tools that ensure you are ready for opportunity when it presents itself.
• Understand your professional values, strengths, skills, and super powers to help improve your leverage when the right position pops up.
• Future vision to discover the possible directions that feel like professional growth to you, and  clarify what it will take to get to those possible goals.
• Figure out how to get you playing at the level you want right now! You may not be a people leader today, but how can you get real-life, hands-on experience now? You may not be an expert in your field, but how can you make steps towards that today?

Sometimes we also refer to this as dream surfing or I like “daydreaming for adults.”
